Proofs of interlinking relations between Tasogare-iro, Fukanzen Ilis and Hyouketsu Kyoukai

I've seen comments doubting on the relationship between Fukanzen Ilis and Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden. Well, just to set things right, Fukanzen Ilis is a prequel to Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden, set in the same world a thousand years ago before Hyouketsu Kyoukai was casted.

I'll post some images and show some HEAVY SPOILERS using the images from some of the volumes. And I mean it. So for those people who does not want to be spoiled, turn away now.

Mysterious blue haired DFC
Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden, vol 4
In vol 4, Ymy will be shown a flashback a thousand years ago, where she will see the blue haired DFC girl (shown in cover and the colored pages as well) together with with Incomplete Divine Arms Ilis and her scythe.

Fukanzen Ilis vol 2
And here she is, appearing in vol 2's illustration as well. You'll get to know her identity soon enough in Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden.

Tsali (Shouten)
Fukanzen Ilis vol 3
I mentioned earlier here that she's Shouten. Shouten is actually the title given to the Queen's Sennenshi in Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden. So actually, Tsali is the Queen's Sennenshi. If you recall, there is a chapter in vol 1 of Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden named "Shouten".

Eternal loli
Fukanzen Ilis vol 3
Our dear loli (???) in Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden appeared in Fukanzen Ilis as well. Do you guys really not have a hunch on who she really is?

Nagi (MC of Fukanzen Ilis)
Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden vol 10
Nagi reappeared in vol 10 of Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden, and from the looks of it, it is probably not a flashback...... Pictured here is him together with Ilis' crystal form. Then again, the crystal is in the raw form without the ornaments, so it might be a flashback after all.

Neight Yehlemihas (???)
Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden vol 10
I can't confirm his identity for now, but from the brief description I've read with my limited Japanese (they mentioned "tasogare-iro" when describing his looks and etc) and that "serpent" thing on his shoulder, it should be Neight and Arma from Tasogare-iro no Uta Tsukai.

Tasogare-iro no Uta Tsukai colored illustration (vol 2)
Here's the illustration of Neight in Tasogare-iro no Uta Tsukai. Different artist, and he's in his shota form here.

Armariris (???)
Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden vol 10
Again, I am not certain of her identity. However, if I am not wrong, she should be Armariris. Now, if you'll recall Ymy's shinryoku form......

Tasogare-iro no Uta Tsukai character list (vol 9)
Armariris is Kluele's Blank Recital Spirit.

Here's Armariris and Kluele. Armariris appears to be a naked clone of Kluele self.

That's all. I'll not go too crazy with the spoilers. I am pretty certain Fukanzen Ilis is a prequel, unless the author pulls something crazy here with parallel timelines and worlds (which is not impossible). Also note the close relation between the 3 titles (there's actually more once the readers hit further into the Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden series, but that will also require knowledge of the Tasogare-iro no Uta Tsukai series as well).

For those who are interested in Tasogare-iro no Uta Tsukai, you can follow the project here:

  3. The spoilers are hard to comprehend it doesn't spoil much for me XD
But the time difference definitely seem significant - the worlds sounds different from each other from the intros of each novel.
Only adds to pique my interest.

    1. If I remember right, Arma's not black originally.

  5. I also got the hunch after I finished Tasogare-iro no Uta Tsukai... the incantations and lyrics fit perfectly. The queen seems to have a connection to, or atleast the knowledge of this timeline I think. I'm very interested in how the world came to the state it is now in Hyouketsu Kyoukai...

My memories are kind of fuzzy, I guess I will need to reread Uta Tsukai.
