White Album 2 Introductory Chapter Anime Finale

A late Happy New Year to everyone!

DM here with a quick write-up of White Album 2; Nek0 and I had a $5 bet on which ending they'll choose to do for the anime series, and the show has already gotten about 1/3rd of the way through the story.

The anime has followed the VN relatively faithfully up to now, though they excluded some minor(arguable?) scenes because of the 13 episode time constraint. I feel like they've done a relatively good job of not deviating from the original material though. However, I've heard from several friends that they thought it stopped being interesting and has since dropped the series, but what they didn't understand was that this is supposed to be the intro (hence the name of the game).

For those of you who've been following the anime so far, what did you guys think of it? For those who haven't played the VN, were you surprised at how intro chapter ended? Also most importantly, who are you rooting for now and have you jumped ship between Team Kazusa and Setsuna?

Done with White Album 2 VN

Didn't play through kouhai route and normal end and stuff. Here's my personal ranking on how much I've enjoyed each route.

Kazusa true end >>> Mari end > Setsuna end > Chiaki end > Kazusa normal end

Drkmerc's gonna hate me for placing Mari end over Setsuna end, but christmas cake route too cute. Setsuna end is overly idealistic and sugar coated in my opinion, which I feel does not quite match up well with the mood of the game. But Setsuna still a pretty good girl. Just that Kazusa is the best girl.

Aquaplus, do not disappoint me and give me Kazusa true end.

5 bucks on the line for White Album 2's anime ending

So Drkmerc and I talked about how White Album 2 anime will end. He's #TeamSetsuna4Life, while I am dead certain the anime will do a Kazusa end because it makes more financial sense for Leaf to do so. Though that'll mean Aquaplus' probably gonna get razed to the ground by Setsuna fans.

Made a 5 bucks bet just for fun. So this is more of a post to remind us about the friendly wager. And I guess it'll be something interesting to think about.

White Album 2's anime is gonna be way more fun to watch from now on.
