Just your light novels translations (from Chinese to Engrish) and stuff.
The lack of foot licking was also disappointing.
They couldn't have kept everything, it would have been like 2-3 episodes otherwise just for that conversation, the overall adaption was handled very well, not displeased at all.
Not so much displeased with Nekomonogatari, but I very much agree. The 5+ page conversation on panties was important in it's own way. Yes it was hilarious, yes it shows just how pervy the siblings can be while being serious, but in my opinion, the panties talk kinda gave a bit more insight into Tsukihi-chan's character/personality.Anyway, I feel it should have been there too.
It did seem almost like they were purposely trying to minimize the fan-service this time around, I think there were a few things they could've put more emphasis on if they wanted to go that route. Come to think of it, this seemed like one of the least "Shaftesque" Shaft productions in a while. Still I have to agree with anon, very well done overall imho.
I feel ya. But look on the other perspective... If they include that conversation regarding whether "what's superior? White or Black?", the anime which span for only 4 episode would become a full season anime series. I was really mortified that they did not included it on the editing but, oh well.oninn
